As you very well know, Amyloidosis is a rare, multi-system disease. Our amyloid program includes experts across many different specialties, including cardiology, gastroenterology, hepatology, hematology, pulmonology, neurology, nephrology and transplant surgery. By combining quick and efficient diagnosis with advanced care, our experts ensure that patients receive the most effective treatment options as early as possible. The JC Walter, Jr. Transplant Center is involved because the namesake of this Conference was a cardiac amyloidosis transplant patient who passed away waiting for his heart transplant.
