The Epilepsy Comprehensive Update & Board Review is an education symposium whose aim is to educate neurologists, APPs, neurology residents, and epilepsy fellows involved in the treatment of patients with epilepsy. This year's course will expand attendees' knowledge and understanding of epilepsy and will demonstrate how to offer top quality epilepsy care to patients. The event will include a series of lectures designed to prepare attendees for the Epilepsy Boards.

1. Identify clinical featgures that support a diagnosis of epilepsy and specific spilepsy syndromes.
2. Recognize normal, abnormal and epileptiform EEG patterns.
3. Appropriately choose antiseizure medications for patients with epilepsy based on clinical history, comorbidities, and epilepsy subtype.
4. Identify appropriate diagnostic testing in persons with epilepsy including testing in drug resistent epilepsy patients.
