Resident Conference Information

You must register for the upcoming conference to participate 


 Resident Housing Stipend (Winter and Summer 2026 Conference)  

TNS offers a housing stipend to all residents, fellows, and medical students who attend the conference. You will receive the housing stipend reimbursement form upon checking in to the conference. The stipend will cover a one-night hotel stay at the host hotel or an equivalent hotel, tax, and self-parking. This form should be filled out and returned to the TNS registration table or business office within a week of the meeting. 


Resident Poster Competition (Winter Conference 2026 Only)

TNS invites residents to participate in the Annual Poster Competition! Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in the amounts of $1,000, $500, and $250.

Application Procedures & General RulesTNS Membership: Neurology Residents and Fellows must be members of TNS (or submit an application)
Registration: All participants must register for the TNS 2026 Winter Conference by Tuesday, January 13, 2026. 

Posters should include: 

  • Title: Simple title representing the key element(s) of the study, in a very large font. 
  • Authors: Write authors full names with middle initials in large font. Indicate each author's highest degree (e.g., PhD, MD). A common should be used to separate authors. 
  • Affiliations: Complete names and locations of the institutions where the work was done. 
  • Main Body: Use large text and legible figures to describe the work. Use standard scientific outline with headings for Background, Methods, Results, and Discussion/Conclusions.
  • References: References should be cited parenthetically in the text by author and year of publication, for example (Fisher et al., 2011). Limit of 3 references per poster. 
  • One presentation per resident per competition 

TNS will print all posters at the cost of $55 per entry to be collected when submitting your resident poster application.

Resident Lunch and Symposium (Winter 2026 Conference)

Residents and trainees are invited to attend our dedicated Resident/Medical Student Track. TNS will host a luncheon in which trainees get to meet with neurologists from across the state who practice in different environments (academic, hospital-based, private practice) and learn more about what life is like as a neurologists. After lunch, there will be a hands-on resident skills workshop where trainees get to work in small groups with expert practicing Botox administration for migraine, spasticity, and movement disorders. 

All residents and trainees attending the conference are strongly encouraged to attend. You MUST RSVP on your registration form to attend the luncheon and skills workshop this year.
